CBK752 and Macbook Air/Monterey not connecting to internet
The competing model/description numbers give me a headache. I have the Orbi Model CBK752, which seems to mean Orbi Router CBR750 + a satellite (RBS750). The Problem Brand new Macbook Air running...

Ok so while I was on hold with ATT, I was able to setup my CBR750 in AP mode behind my CAX80.
I was just now able to get my Mac Book Pro with OSX 12.1 beta 4 connected to the CBR.
Firmware Version
V3.2.16.9_1.4.7I guess I can try updating to v4. :smileyfrustrated:
I presume there maybe is odd issue with your Mac Book Air, OSX and the CBR750. You can tell Apple that my MBP works.
Hopefully maybe they can help.

You are not alone.
It actually means "Mesh WiFi System with Built-in Cable Modem".
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Orbi with Built-in Cable Modem - NETGEAR Communities
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
Don't abandon this section. It probably has more visitors that the other one and many questions are generic. I just don't want you to miss out on other possibilities.

Thanks for the info Michael. I've posted in that community/forum/area.
Now the Mac says it's connected to the WiFi. The Orbi app and the online interface list both recognized the device. Still...no internet connect. Good times.

Is this the only device having problems connecting to the CBR?
I Presume you have turned OFF the RBS to ensure the mac connects to the CBR only?- KeepOnKeepinOnDec 17, 2021Aspirant
Yes. Orbi works like a champ with everything else. And the Macbook will connect via other networks. Furry - what's RBS?

Sattelite
I have a CBR750 and I suppose I can hook it up in a faux AP mode configuration to see if my Mac Book Pro with Monterey beta will connect. It does connect to my RBR750 and RBS750 ok. The Mac Book is a 2018 model.
Seems like something between the CBR and Air isn't working right
