CBR40 Modem Only Mode

Can someone please explain if I can turn CBR40 into a modem only mode and attach a different router (Asus, Eero etc.) to it? I see there is a bridge mode in the settings but does activating this mode...

Yes, all but one LAN port will be disabled.

CBR40 does not have a WAN port from my knowledge. Thanks.
