CG3000DV2

Wired and wireless will not issue IP addresses. Devices link to the phisical interfaces (lights come on or say connected but no ip/internet accessed. Troubleshooting with Mediacom showed modem was issued ip but couldn't see router. Cannot access to trouble shoot. I believe the DHCP is not funtioning. Clearly a.warranty issue as it has only been in service for just over two months. Need to return for replacement.

    Hi rondenos,

     

    1. Have you tried resetting the device?

    2. Have you tried other ports?

    3. Have you tried using another Ethernet cable?

    4. Is the device that you are using set to a static IP or set to obtain an IP?

    5. Have you tried another device?

  • The device is defective. I replaced it with a new one which works as expected. I need an RMA to have the defective one replaced.
