CM 1000 can’t reset
Last night my modem stopped working. I have Xfininty and it’s been fine for the last two weeks.
I plugged in directly to the modem and I can’t even reach it when going to 192.168.100.1 (unreachable). I’ve tried resetting it but when I hold down the reset button the power and LAN lights don’t react at all.
I have a technician coming in two days but I feel like the modem is possibly bricked :(

Check the power adapter voltage at the tip to make sure volts and amps are good.
Unplug the RJ6 coax cable from the back of the modem and then power ON or try a reset. If you can't get into the modems web page with the coax disconnected and the lights dont' do anything, contact NG support and ask about an RMA. Possible the modem needs to be replaced. Have the tech check the signal on the line up to the modem to ensure isn't to spec and not over powering the modem.
