Any Criticals, Errors or Warnings seen in the event logs needs to be reviewed and resolved by the ISP. Indicates a signal issue on the ISP line up to the modem.
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
What is the brand and model of the host wifi router connected to the modem?

- binghambj22Jul 25, 2024AspirantWe contacted the ISP and they checked. The modem needed an update. That helped temporarily. Then it returned to what it had been doing previously. The line is doing fine. We connected a different modem and we've had no problems since.
I think the Modem may have been the problem sadly.

Would need to see the cable connections data page from the CM1000 to better determine if the CM could be the issue or a signal on the line would be the cause. The modem already saw issues in the event logs which point to a signal problem on the line up to the CM modem.
- binghambj22Jul 25, 2024AspirantWe've disconnected, because we needed wifi, so I can't gain access to it at the present time. The new modem works well, so it wouldn't be the line that is causing it. The ISP has been to our house 3 times to check. They haven't found a problem with the line any of those times.
The problem was the modem. We are considering taking the modem to a repair shop.
