CM 400 Router
Before I ditch this product for a TP Link, I need to know two things:
1. What is the latest firmware version I should have to avoid known hacking issues with this router, and
2. I cannot change the settings password. I know how, but it continually comes up "invalid password."
old password = admin
New password = eight lower case letters, repeated twice (confirm).
after about 15 attempts, I gave up.
i tried re-booting several times, plus a factory reset.
No luck.

When I changed passwords, I was forced to include a number in my password. Did you try that?
