CM 700 modem
My old modem from Xfinty have Wi-Fi build in. The new Netgear CM 700 does not. If I switch over to new CM 700 will I be able to Connect into my router with my phone and iPad? TIA.
The CM700 is a modem only. It doesn't have any router capabilities.
You can connect a router to it. And in my experience its better to have a modem seperate from the router any way. It leaves you in control of the routers firmware and not the isp.
