CM1000 and Mediacom - Compatible?
I never saw an answer to this in an old, closed thread [1]. So I want to reboot that conversation - has anyone gotten this to work? I should be getting 100 Mbps download, but once Mediacom provisio...

Users should always first contact there ISPs or perspective ISP to ask them what they officially support on there networks. They will have this information.

Thanks Furrye38. The CM1000 is on their list of compatible modems:

And they've told me over the phone several times that it's compatible :/

One interesting piece of misinformation I'm getting (at least it's misinformation from one side of the "argument") is Netgear support telling me EVERY downstream channel should be locked. In reality, I was only seeing 24 out of the 32 locked. Meanwhile, Mediacom support says that's not true. They would not expect to see every channel locked under normal, working conditions.
