CM1000 and Nighthawk AC1750 show green lights but....

... not getting any connection. Tried to download the nighthawk app and it won't connect to the router at all. I know the internet is working from the modem cause it will work when I am directly connected with a cable. Don't know what to do at this point. Please help, thank you!

       Which "the nighthawk app", running on what?  Have you tried using a
    web browser to talk to the router?

     

       For each Netgear device, visit http://netgear.com/support , put in
    your model number, and look for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.
    Read.
