CM1000 has slow or fast blinking of "internet" LED

Like the title says...

 

Occasionally, more often when it's windy, the ethernet light will go solid, and the "internet" light, will either blink slowly, or quickly. At that time, no internet is will work. The modem will reset, sometimes a few times, and it will eventually reconnect correctly. However, sometimes that is a 30 minute event.
