CM1000 modem comcast gigabit - slow speed
Got comcast gigabit service. comcast replaced outside and inside lines and tested the signal strength which they told me was good - in fact in the sweet spot. I haven't been able to get more than 3...
Just installed today and I am also getting speeds from 320 to 500 on Xfinity Gig Sevrvices. With the Xfinity Modem I was getting 500 to 900. Has anyone got a solution yet?
- I have the same issue. I activated my CM1000 with Comcast today on their Gigabit service. I can’t get more than 378 megs out of this thing. Looks like it’s going back to Amazon.
Was a resolution to this issue ever found? I have the EXACT same problem with Xfinity and the CM1000. I am starting to think it;s the modem and am likely to return it and instead just use the Xfinity supplied modem (which is NOT what I want to do)
- For me, the only resolution was to use the Comcast modem. I even tried the Arris Surfboard Gigabit modem and got the same result. The problem is definitely somewhere on Comcast’s provisioning end.
