CM1000 v2 Modem drastically slows down my speed

Log into the modem and get the cable connection page too.

if you have any splitters, amplifiers, attenuators hooked to the coax line, remove them. hook the modem to right where the coax enters the home.

        So your speed tests are over wireless? (since you stated you didnt' have a device with an ethernet port) 

        What device are you using? 

        Are you testing over 2.4ghz or 5ghz?

        What router are you using? 

        How do you know its the modem slowing the speeds and not the router?
