CM1000 Xfinity New Firmware now Wan Light on Modem turns amber sometimes

My CM1000 starting having Wan Light issues after recent firmware upgrade by Xfinity. The old firmware was Firmware Version V3.01.04. Around 9 days ago Xfinity changed it to Firmware Version V3.01.0...

how often does it happen?

Have you tried switching Ethernet cables? 

Does the WAN light on XR500 just turn Amber right in the middle of the connection.
