Firmware on the router?
What site are you testing on? if you're on xfinity try speedtest.xfinity.com
what device are you testing on?
do you get full speed connected to the modem?
Run my test on the nighthawk app. Download is 610 to 630. Uploads are low 40’s. Ping around 13-15.
Don't use the nighthawk app. It works well on slower lines but mine has never maxed out my gigabit.
You need to hardwire into it and try several sites. Even the standard speedtest.net site can pick bad servers and needs to be changed sometimes.
So try it hardwired into a pc.
And try a couple different speedtest sites.
