CM1000v2 / Nighthawk R7000P Random in and outs/ disconnects. Armstrong Service

I currently run the CM1000v2 cable modem along with the Nighthawk R7000P router on Armstrong's internet service and receive multiple connection issues.

From my connection going in and out to just flat out disconnecting me from the internet entirely. 

It's becoming to a point its getting very frustrating, especially when i know very little when it comes to this area and not many people seem to have this issue. 

Just looking for some guidance on how these issues can be resolved.

    Your modem signal is horrible. Full of errors and way out of spec. You should be from -7.5 to 7.5. You have channels at -22.5. Way out of spec. 

    Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
    From there, check the line for kinks, damage, and moisture in the line.
    Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
    If you can, simply connect the modem right where the coax comes into the home. This prevents wiring in the home from being the issue. And some ISPs charge if the wiring issue is in the home. So this helps prevent this.

    If none of that helps with the signal level, Armstrong needs to check the line. Thats a bad signal level and I'm surprised it works at all.
