CM1000V2 Cable Modem all lights flashing Amber but the Power indicator.

Last night I came home to find my UPS was in a alarm for a charger failure. When I checked it out, I found the cable modem next to it was flashing rapidly. All lights but the Power indicator, it was steady Green. I tried unplugging everything and rebooting it but got no where. What should I try next?

    With the ISP cable disconnected from the modem and disconnected from the host router, factory reset the modem to see if this changes the LED behavior. Press the reset button for 10 seconds then release.
