Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
What is the brand and model of the host wifi router connected to the modem?
- RoofiusNov 04, 2023AspirantThe only LED that the manual has any meaning for is the Ethernet light. Solid Amber means a powered device is connected to the LAN port and I have disconnected the router from it and it still lights up.
I cannot connect to my modems web page. I reconnected the router when I tried this and got nothing. My cable is rated for CAT6.- plemansNov 04, 2023Guru - Experienced User
Try disconnecting the coax from the modem. Then factory reset it and let it reboot with the coax unplugged.
I've seen a few times where a hot incoming line puts the modem in a reboot/hardware failure. If that doesn't fix it, its more than likely a hardware failure
