CM1000V2 no sync
I bought a new CM1000V2 cable modem, it has the latest firmware V7.01.01. When my ISP activates the modem they tell me it's not syncing so I have not internet (no upstream signal). Every thing else...

Tests done by Comcast technicians both connected directly to pc and my Netgear R7000 router. Same result. Also tried resetting modem, it just will not sync. Because I did not purchase from an authorized dealer, Comcast can do no more.
