Hello I have an issue with my modem to where the lights will all come on sequentially the internet light will blink very fast then it goes back to a blinking downstream light and repeats. I still have power light and good Ethernet to my router, I pulled up the genie and it’s showing a downstream channel locked connectivity state in progress (access denied), boot state in progress (unknown). In the event log I have UCD invalid or channel unusable, no ranging response received and DHCP warnings if anyone knows what the issue could be please let me know I’ve already had my isp come out but I don’t think it’s hardware considering before I moved it was working perfectly fine.
Has your modem ever worked satisfactory at your new location?
Is your new location served by the same internet service provider?
Have you tried the default reset as described on page 20 of the user's manual? The user's manual is available from the downloads section above.
- BraydenT113Feb 11, 2023AspirantNo it hasn’t worked since I’ve been here and yes my provider now is through the apartment I’m at which is why I think it’s an isp issue I just wanna make sure I’m not missing something before I call them again. Also I have tried the factory reset several times no joy.

You need to contact the isp. It might just need proper provisioning.
If that doesn't help, post a screensnip of the cable connections page and the event logs back here.
its more helpful than just a few parts from the logs. - BraydenT113Feb 12, 2023Aspirant*update* turns out it was some kind of modem issue, I tried a different modem and it works fine now still however curious as to what could cause the modem to just go bad like that. Could it have something to do with a DIOCS 3.1 modem using lower level inputs?
