CM1100 NIGHTWAWK CABLE MODEM
How can I find this modem's IP address to log in and review settings?
Would be seen on the modems base sticker or seen the user guide or user manual:
found ip addy in user manual . . . 192.168.100.1 . . . but the modem doesn't respond to that ip addy! Now what?
Is with with one wired PC connected to the back port #1 on the modem and nothing else connected?
My ORBI wifi router is hooked to ethernet #1, PC is on the wifi circuit. Do you think wiring the pc direct to the modem will resolve the access?
how about leaving the ORBI router on Ether#1 and connecting my pc to ethernet#2?
What Orbi model.
No, you can only have 1 device connected to the CM modem. Most ISPs assign 1 WAN IP address to homes, so even there is two WAN ports on the CM modem, only 1 is active.
You should be able to reach 192.168.100.1 thru the Orbi router. I do with mine.
