cm1150 issue with emta event log causing modem to reboot
I find it hard to believe that Netgear still has yet to admit their cm1150 devices all reboot when a user simply tries to view the emta event log under advanced. I can reproduce this on demand since...

been a CCNP for 25 years and have a cat 8 cable connected.
There is no doubt that the device has a bug and there is not newer firmware since I first discovered the issue.
as soon as you navigate to Advanced
Administration
then click on the link for
EMTA Event Log
the device simply reboots!
I was simply asking if any other NETGEAR users with the same model device can confirm this happens when they do the same?
Typically Xfinity will update this device when you rent it but i bought mine so I feel like Netgear owes me an explanation as to how they never tested the links on their product?
I am about to stop using netgear because of the router i bought my son r10000
I use the r9000 for my home and thats connected to the cm1150 and while i liked that router enough to buy it for my other homes it seems to get wiped and i am starting to think hackers are somehow getting into it and factory resetting it...but thats not this post...i am sim0ply ticked that years after i discovered this flaw in the cm1150 i see another post that netgear knows about it back then and then no more replies!
why is this not fixed yet?
the device can be up for months and then as soon as you click on the link for the emta event log it reboots!
I would bet a million dollars on it so thats how sure i am it is not anything in my setup or environment or cables or the power supply or well you get my drift.
DOCSIS® 3.1 Cable Modem (CM1150V)
would like netgear to tell me if they know about this and if they intend to fix it.

Lets try something, disconnect the external router and ISP signal coax line from the CM modem. Press the reset button for 15 seconds then release. With one ethernet connected PC to the back of the CM modem, give 2 minutes then log into the modems web page at 192.168.100.1. Try the Event Log selection. Does the modem reboot here or does it display something?
