Cm1150v and apple exteme

Thanks for the help. I think it is probably having the router in bridge mode that is the problem. When I have another couple of hours I will retry it.

ARRIS TG1682G? Which is a "gateway" (modem+router)? Which you've
now replaced with a simple modem?

Presumably, that means that it was configured as a wireless access
point, which would make sense when it was connected to the ARRIS TG1682G
modem+router.
Now, however, with a simple modem, you need a (NAT) router.

Yes. Or with any other _modem_ (without another router).

One good first step would be to stop abbreviating model numbers.
Then, visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model
number, and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least).

That's _a_ potential problem, but not having a router (acting as a
router) is also important.
