Nov 24, 2021CM1150V and Xfinity Compatibility
I bought a CM1150V last year so I could get 1 gig internet. When I installed it, everything was good. Xfinity and Netgear both said it was compatible and I was getting 900+ mb. Lately, speed tests...

Its a gimmick from xfinity.
What it is is that their former 1gig plan is now 1.2 gig.
And the CM1000/CM1100/CM1150V only have gigabit ports.
So according to xfinity its not compatible. If you click on 900mbps it shows as compatible because a gigabit port can saturate 900mbps.
It gives xfinity a reason to say "upgrade to our equipment to realize your speeds"
Yours will still work and achieve the same speeds as before. Its limit was always its gigabit port and not the modems docsis 3.1.
What speeds are you getting hardwired into the modem?
Got a screen snip of the cable connections page and event logs from it.
