CM1150V conflict with firmware version - slow connect speed
I've been using the CM1150V since March. I have Orbi RBR50 w satellite. I had Xfinity 250GB service, and was consitantly measuring download speeds between 200-300 mbps. I just upgraded to their Gigab...

I'm starting a new conversation - I think it has been determined that the Modem is working and the firmware version is ok. The issue has come down to the difference in hardwire to the Orbi router (650mbps), vs wireless to the Orbi (5GHz channel)-(150mbps).

I was able to get up to 350 mbps (direct to modem, using Ookla on the desktop, connect to Aerux Broadband in Denver.
when I test it using Comcast Denver (my ISP) , I only get around 125 mbps
When I do it from a browser 9Aerux) I only get 165 mbps.
When connected wireless to the Orbi I get 125 mbps, I just tested hardwired to Orbi 724mbps.
I had a service tech from Comcast come out. He did a direct test (with a special device they have) from the modem and then from the Orbi, both were showing areound 900 mbps, he validated the speed was coming through. He explained that it comes down to the capacity of the computers network card.
My system is a MS Surface Pro 4 - intel core i5 6300U @ 2.4 GHz Window 10Pro V1809 I would think that would be capable of higher speeds. Now I'm guessing its somesthing to do with my wireless settings or my wirless card?
