CM1150V multi gig support?
According the the specs on m CM1150V cable modem (with voice), it should support Docsis 3.1 at multi-gig speeds. However, ti appears that Comcast (Xfinity) won't configure it for multi-gig speeds eve...

Due to a single coax line to the modem and your ISP only gives 1 WAN IP address and the 1Gb ports and the ISP isn't supporting this model model on there network for the 2.5Gb speed tier. You'll need a modem on there mid split/higher speed tier to take advantage of the higher speed beyond 1Gb. Just how it is. NG CM2000 series and 3000 series have 2.5Gb and higher WAN ports. the CM1000 series do not. The CM1150v has 4 WAN ports however those are only assignable by the ISP and most ISPs only give out 1 IP address, so this would be a limitation by the ISP as well for the CM1000 series.
If you really don't need 2.5Gb speeds then keep what you have. I'm still on a 1Gb line with my ISP and it services 4 people nicely.

I don't really need it. But since they were going to give me that speed for basically nothing (I pay them a lot already) I was willing to take it but needed a new modem.
I do get 950 mbps down and 41 mbps up.
Thanks for your help.

Will need something CM2000 or beyond for that.
Good Luck.
