CM1150V orientation
Is there any restrictions on the orientation of this modem? Airflow? I wish to place it horizontally in my vented cabinet. Temperature runs between 85-90 degreesF. Cabinet space is 9" H.

Did you find any restrictions in the product documentation?

I know nothing, but I'd guess that any such restrictions would be
related to heat. If you blow more air at/through it than it would
normally move on its own by convection, then I wouldn't expect any
thermal problems in any orientation.Whenever you blow air, you blow dust, so more attention to cleaning
would be appropriate.I downloaded all the documentation that was available. Nothing in there. Checked for other "tuitorial" type documents and nothing surfaced. I have the CM500V and its constructio is nothing like the CM1150V - too bad. Like you I suspect it might be heat related - the faster the modem the more power required, etc. The pictures don't help but it looks like more open construction that the CM500V maybe for heat dissapation.
