CM1200 cable modem having t3 range time outs

I have my internet service through comcast/xfinity.  I bought a CM1200 cable modem about 4 months ago and it worked fine for the first 2 months I had it.  Now I am having intermittent dropouts and the event log on shows several different messages that are similar in that they log the upstream channel 3 timing out or getting no response.  I have tried xfinity and they sent me one of their cable modems and it works just fine.  I also have a net gear wireless router, nighthawk X6.  Any suggestions on what I can do?  There doesn't seem to be a way to update the firmware on the cable modem and the settings are pretty limited.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Different modems might be sensitive to different interference in the line.

do you have a screen snip of the modem cable connections page and its logs? This helps us to check the line.

any splitters, amplifiers, or attenuators in line? I'd also connect the cm1200 right where the coax enters the home. this prevents wiring within the home from being the issue.
