CM1200 Modem Losing Downstream Connection Several times a day (for about 60 sec)
All lights on modem say solid green except for downstream which blinks while internet is lost (generally about 30-60 sec). My ISP has sent techs out multiple times, latest was just this morning, but I'm hoping to speed things along and troubleshoot anything else I can...
I have attempted to rule out potential issues:
-Bought a fresh 100ft coax cable and ran it directly from modem to ISP's line.
-New router as of yesterday, old one was only 2 years old (also Netgear).
ISP thinks this is an issue with the modem attempting firmware updates. Assuming the event log lends itself to this being an issue, how can I disable auto updates on the modem? Not seeing any option on login.

As an end user of this modem, you do not have any control over the firmware update process. That is solely the responsibility of the ISP.
Have you tried the recessed reset button on the back?
To check the firmware version on your machine, compare here:
Carefully review the paragraphs at the top of the tables.
It has become a standard finger pointing process by the ISP toward end user owed hardware. The ISP wants you to rent/lease their hardware and contribute to their revenue stream.
It would be helpful if you posted a copy of your modem's cable connection page. In particular the downstream bonded channels, upstream bonded channels, and OFDM/OFDMA channels.
You can educate yourself on the modem power level requirements here:

Hmm.. I've posted the event log 3x now and it seems to always get removed....
