CM1200 not developing IP addresses

The CM series modems are modems only. There is no router. You'll need a external router to use with the CM1200 modem.

The ISP is Mediacom 1 with 1Gig speed. I have also tried a TP-Link 4 port switch into port of modem with all 4 devives connected and still connect develop IP on equipment. Please advise.
