CM1200 Router?
I reccomended this router to my customer based upon reading the descriptions on the Best Buy website. He is replacing a CM1000 and stand-alone router that took a lightning hit. I suggested the CM1200...
It was the multiple output ports that made ne assume it includes router function.
I was hurriedly trying to provide an answer to a cystomer and didn't read far enough. Thanks for the reply.
Ah gotta cha. Ya, don't be mislead by multiple ports now days. Cable Modem only units are coming with more than just 1 port now days. For NG modems, the CM series is just a modem only no buit in router or wifi. The C series are modems with built in router and wifi.
