CM1200 with eero

Installed CM1200 on a cox service.  Working well installation went fine.  This was to replace an old modem.  The installation went well and all working.  As the router was old, this needed to be replaced.  Connected to the ports are the eero, dish and computer.  The computer will not obtain internet access through the cable modem indiciting the ip configuration is incorrect. The VOIP phone will also not conect through the CM1200 either it is now connected to the eero directly and works propertly.  Any suggestions on why the computer will not gain internet access directly through the cm1200?
