This doesn't appear to change the behavior at all. I've already tried resetting so I expected this, but the device doesn't seem to respond to the reset button at all and continues rebooting indefinitely.
I've tried various combinations of factory resetting, letting it sit unpowered for extended periods of time, plugging it into a machine without the coax, and of course with the coax.
The lines are fine since my other modem works fine in its place, but obviously I'd rather keep using my multi gig modem rather than a 300mbit one

also worth noting that as it continuously reboots I am unable to connect to the 192.168.100.1 web portal for the device for any logs and such.

yeah the issue is that the modem is 2 months out of warranty and the link they have to purchase further support doesn't work on 3 different browsers, and there's no other way for me to open a ticket. I'm actually pretty frustrated about that but I've tried to avoid getting too negative on here.

Have you looked closely at your power adapter? Is it plugged in to a known good outlet? Does the DC connector appear to be be damaged or deformed?
