CM2000 NIGHTHAWK: CANNOT ACCESS ADMIN PAGE
Set up:
CM2000 Nighthawk cable modem
Orbi router and satellites
Problem:
Can't access the admin panel. The following error appears after it grinds away for a few minutes:
This site can’t be reached
192.168.100.1 took too long to respond.
Solutions tried thus far (all of which failed):
- Called tech support--that was a fiasco.
- Called xfinity. Had them reboot and ping from their end.
- Rebooted the modem over...and over...and over.
- Did factory reset of modem.
- Disconnected everything (modem from coax, Orbi from modem, etc.), then reconnected.
- Tried three browsers: Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
No way to do a firmware update without access to the admin panel, soooooo.... I'm at the end of my rope. Anyone have a solution?

Power OFF the CM modem, connect 1 wired PC to the back of the CM modem. No Router.
Power ON the modem. After it's ready, see if you can access 192.168.100.1
What Orbi model do you have?
