CM2000 Slow Download/Upload Speeds
I recently purchased a CM2000 to replace the equipment that I was leasing from Suddenlink. The modem that they provided was testing at 900Mbps down/40Mbps up but this Nighthawk is only testing at 21....

2 other things to try as well.
1. try a factory reset and reinstall. I've seen that help before with provisioning.
2. call back. They might not be familiar with that model and sent the wrong provisioning file to it.

Tried both. I actually was able to track down the line errors to a loose barrel connector at the line running to the wall. It is still RG59 but the errors are now gone again after putting it all back together.
Down speed is still at 21.2 Mpbs and the log is still barking about DHCP/primary address errors. They're sending a tech out tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath. I can't imagine them finding a problem with the line and I'm pretty sure they aren't even going to look at the provisioning file that was shipped over to me.
Will try to open a case with Netgear support. Thanks for brainstorming.
