CM2050V - Lights have stopped working - need to worry?
In the past 6 months, the Upload light on my CM2050V has stopped working. I assume that is due to the Firmware issue. I had the same exact issue from 2019-2022 with another Netgear modem. No fix, j...

What ISP are you connected with?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status and event log page.

Might try a different power supply adapter with same volts and amps.

Power is ok.
Correctables and Un-correctables should be zeros.
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
What is the brand and model of the host wifi router connected to the modem? If you get the 2nd CM modem, try it's power adapter on the 1st modem to see if the LED behavoirs change.
Have you powered OFF the 1st modem and disconnected it from the ISP coax line then powered it on to see if the LEDs change behavior?
Any Factory resets as well?
Any Criticals, Errors or Warnings seen in the event logs needs to be reviewed and resolved by the ISP. Indicates a signal issue on the ISP line up to the modem.

old Modem answers to question -
Router - ASUS ZenWiFi CT8 - about a year old. Highly recommended, love it. Increased throughput of 2nd floor gaming.
Ethernet cable - 10' CAT7. Swapped out for exact copy. No difference.
Power Adapter - tried new one, tried with coax disconnected, modem completely disconnected, no lights powered on.
Old CM2050V essentially died Friday morning, connection lost, never regained connection. One year and a week old. Shortest lifespan of any modem I've ever owned. Decided to swap in new one, same CM2050V model. Only choice left of modem and voice combo. Have no use for gateway, with the mesh ASUS router I love.
All lights immediately came on. Took 4 reboots over 90 minutes before Online finally light went solid. Then took from 10:30 am - 4:25pm before Xfinity tech support finally got it provisioned and both internet and phone worked.
No correctables/non-correctables, SNR on 31 of 32 locked DL's between 39-41. UL only 2 of 8 locked, 38-38 SNR. Same set of warning/critical errors in Event log that have been going on since 2019 with a CM1150V and now CM2050V. Please get the FW issue fixed!!!!!
What are the OFDM and OFDMA streams for and why only 1 DL (ton of Correctable Codewords) out of the 4 Locked?
TIA, Curtis
