The CM2050V has appeared on approved equipment lists since early this year. Comcast says that they are having difficulty getting the CM2050V to work with their network, and are still working on the speed issue. Doesn't Netgear work with cable providers when it releases equipment?

Yes. And it's up to the ISP to get the Cm modem working and tested and certified on there system. Does work with NG as needed I presume. Doesn't happen over night and problems may be seen by the ISP that cause problems down the line. ISP serivces are complex systems. May effect other Mfrs as well. So to blame NG would be incorrect or claim to avoid NG would be invalid. But your choice good luck.
