Thanks for the reply. I have tried the factory reset with and without the coax cable connected, but it did not reset or do anything different than continual flickering lights.
The power adapter is still the same original one that came with the modem. I have always used an active outlet (and a UPS).

Can you try a different adapter with same volts and amps specs and see if the modem returns?
