CM3000 and only 1 & 2 are lit in the front panel
I found a CM3000 in the e-waste pile and wanted to know if it's possible to have it fixed rather than e-wasted. The front panel has no sign of power other than the numbers 1 & 2 lit up solid white.
Looks like someone already tried to pry it open. I guess it'll go back to the e-waste. It's beyond what I know! Thanks everyone!
A couple things you can try since its already waste
- try a different power adapter. The number of times I've seen a power supply cause issues is quite frequent. It uses a pretty standard 12v power supply. If you're searching ewaste, you've probably got one sitting around that matches so you don't have to invest in one.
- pop it open. Check and see if you've got any capacitors that look bad or anything else. Worth taking a glance.
- Connect it to your ISP (if they support it). See if they can ping it with the mac address or provision it. Worth a chance.
