CM3000 Charter Spectrum high split support?
This modem is useless with out not knowing it will be supported or not. Can someone over at Netgear confirm support soon or coming?

Something to ask the ISP about. They will have this information.
- The famous pass the buck around and leave the customers hanging. Charter says contact Netgear and Netgear says contact Charter. Neither side answering the question. So, anyone netgear have inside knowledge to share with customers about this?

So, anyone netgear have inside knowledge to share with customers about this? This has been going on for years. Its usually in regards to firmware as the ISP says "it needs new firmware" and then netgear says "we can't push new firmware". Its not a new issue. And if you read any of the research on it, there isn't an end in sight. Because certification costs $. And anytime a device is already released to the public and certified, they're less likely to invest more $ into it. The modem can handle the speeds. And the older ones can handle it. but it has to be certified through cable labs/the ISP to approve it. And even if netgear pays the price to recertify the device for higher speeds, will the ISP pay to certify a 3rd party device a 2nd time? Doubtful.
