CM400 and COMCAST Netgear useless

does not work with comcast....cables ok router ok laptop ok........netgear no help

I want to be mobile in house....50 + with wire.....but 12 with router.....AND CRASHES every few minutes.....

What router do you have?  And what is crashing?  The modem or the router?
