CM400 Modem high data use with nothing plugged in

I have a cm400 modem and a netgear router not sure of its model right now.  In the past 3 days my isp says i used over 400gb of bandwidth and I wasnt even home, the only thing that was one and connec...

just looked it up the model of the router is a wnr2000v5.

    You may want to find something to monitor your bandwidth at home rather than take the ISPs word for it I do not believe a modem can use 47 gbs without being connected to any device.

      I dont believe them, but there bandwidth monitor shows that data being pulled from my mac address.
