CM400 Modem lights flashing quickly but not working

I'm not currently home but I have unplugged it numerous times. Pretty sure it had a small hole for me to put a paper clip in and reset which I also did a couple times. Any other ways to reset it?
You already tried then. Time to call your ISP tech support if the unit is supplied by them.
It's not. I purchased it myself in February.
UPS = Uninterrupted Power supply with rechargeable battery back up.
Came home and here's a little more detailed info. When plugged in the power light, 2 lightning bolt lights and the light on the bottom are all flashing at the exact same time which is about every 1/2 second. I just put a paper clip in the back reset button and held it down for 10 seconds and it still continued to do the same flashing.
