Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem.
Be sure there are not coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.

I had Xfinity out here yesterday and they measured and all is ok from their side, they tightened some connections but couldnt see anything really. The technician noted that I have part of the old cable R59 in between the ISP box and my modem. (But this has not been an issue for the last 3 years we have been living here).After resetting the modem and the router I have now looked into the error logs of the modem and find this:
It is a mix of SYNCH Timing failure, where the date shows as 1970 .... and Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 time out.
Any advise would be highly appreciated.
