CM500 download speed with Xfinity

I I recently upgraded my Internet with Xfinity to 300Mbps. After the upgrade, my connections maxes out at 110 Mbps. According to their support, the problem is on my end, and they suggested I have one...

Try a different modem would be next step.

    I bought a Netgear CM700 and I have the exact same issue. The download speed does not go above 100Mbps. The issue must be on Xfinity's side

        have them check what they have your speeds set at. I've ran into it once where they were charging for the speeds I was supposed to be getting but their system was partitioning it at a lower speed.  AKA paying for 300mbps and was partitioned for 100mbps.
