CM500, FVS318G, Nighthawk X4 - no internet

Today our ISP had an "outage" in our area. My issues started immediately after that. The CM500 modem has internet connectivity and if I plug my laptop directly into it via the Ethernet port, so does my laptop. If I try to connect via the router and firewall, nothing. Plugging directly into the firewall, nothing. Plugging the router into the modem, nothing.

Can anyone help me out here?

    Well, I happened to have another modem laying around as we'd not return the rental one to our ISP yet, so I tried it out. Replaced the CM500 with the rental and boom, everything works. Looks like my Netgear modem crapped out.
