CM500 with Nighthawk R7000 won't reconnect after power cycle
My ISP has been doing some "upgrades" in my area so we've been experiencing some internet downtime which they said would happen. The issue I'm having is that with my old modem and router when the internet would go down and come back up I could power cycle the modem and it would reconnect and everything would work. This does not work as easy with the CM500 and R7000 setup. I can power cycle the cm500, let it get till all of the lights are solid green, power cycle the R7000 and it show no internet activity. But if I plug my laptop directly into the CM500 via ethernet and power cyle it and wait until all lights are solid green my laptop (windows 10) will still say no internet activity, but if I open a web browser I have full internet activity. I can then unplug ethernet from laptop and plug back into R7000 and router shows internet activity and everything works. This is a total pain to have to haul my laptop in there and do this everytime our internet goes down, not to mention if I did not have a laptop with an ethernet port I don't know what I'd do. Any ideas on how to avoid and/or remedy this?

I just cleared the log so next time it messes up I'll copy and paste it in here to see if any of you can decipher it for me.
