CM500V Have to unplug everyday and turn back on to achieve target download speed

I don't know firmware version. OS is Chrome. Environment is not an issue. 

 

When I awake this morning my download speed was less than 20 MB. After I restarted modem it went to over 300 MB. I have been having to do this almost daily. 

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. 
    Be sure there are not coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box. 
    Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.

     

    Is this with a wired PC connected directly to the modem or is there a wifi router in between the modem and Pc?
