Buy a modem which works with your ISP?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the Product Data Sheet. Read. Look for
"Certified to work with XFINITY(R) from Comcast" or "Works with
XFINITY(R) from Comcast".
Ask your ISP which modems they support, and then get one of those?
