Cm600 Cox new connection problems.
I replaced cm600 with cox rental and I had problems activating modem with cox. They tell me it now looks good on their end even tho I don’t have internet connection. They said I need to contact Netgear to finish activation. Anyone hear something this stupid? Support told me I need to go into netgenie. Ugh??? Anyone please help, it shouldn’t be this hard.

Was it a new CM600?
do you have any splitters, attenuators, or amplifiers in line? if so, remove them.
The tech was just trying to get you off the phone. Netgear doesn't activate it or make any changes to it. Its all driven by the isp. I'd call back and try and get a different person.
