CM600 won't negotiate 800down/100up

Thank you!   I am experiencing the exact same issues as the OP. Xfinity, an 800 Mbps upgrade activation, and just seeing 400/24 Mbps. Ordered a CM1100.   After Xfinity installed the boot file...

Would not bother the boot config.

As I last stated above, my CM600, no longer would accept my personal creds, nor would it accept the default creds.

 

I reset it to factory defaults using the recessed button. It still will not accept either my personal or the default creds. How do I get access?

    Did you factory reset the modem by removing the ISP coax cable from the back of the modem and press the reste button for 10 seconds then release then give say 1-2 minutes to see if you can access the modems web page using the default log in thats printed on the modems sticker?

      Will the proper reset process wipe the current boot file and reinstall the original default as it came from the factory? If so, I believe this would require an Xfinity reactivation.
